Overview
The AGIL Rocktober 2025 in Essen-Kettwig took place over three October days around German Unity Day. Live rock on Rathausplatz, wine garden and food trucks at Märchenbrunnenplatz. The traditional conclusion of the Kettwig festival season after the Summer Festival (July) and Fountain Festival (September).

The 2025 edition adhered to the established concept of the Aktionsgemeinschaft AGIL: three days of programming in Kettwig's old town center, live rock and cover bands on the main stage at Rathausplatz, gastronomy and a wine garden at Märchenbrunnenplatz, and a family offering with a carousel and play activities.
As every year, Kettwig residents of all ages gathered for a relaxed open-air autumn festival — a successful conclusion to the festival season in the southern part of Essen.
