Overview

Rock in Wotschofska 2025 once again drew reggae and rock fans to Wotschofska island in the Spreewald. The concept with the punt shuttle from Lübbenau and the live concert on the car-free island worked perfectly again — with warm summer weather and a great open-air atmosphere in the middle of the UNESCO Spreewald Biosphere Reserve.

In 2025, the festival once again focused on a mix of international reggae and acoustic rock — a format that had proven successful in previous years. The combination of the Spreewald's natural backdrop, car-free access, and high-quality live acts makes Rock in Wotschofska one of the most distinctive festival dates in Brandenburg.

The Lübbenau Tourist Information and its partners manage the festival with strict consideration for the Biosphere Reserve: waste is rigorously controlled, light emissions are limited, and outside food is prohibited. Precisely this discretion is the counterpoint to commercial mass festivals — and makes the experience special.
