Edition 2025 — Ritterfestspiele Herbst Satzvey
The 2025 Autumn Knights Festival at Burg Satzvey took place as usual over two consecutive weekends at the end of August / beginning of September. A medieval market with around 70 traders, an elaborate show with stunts and a horse fire spectacle, camp life, and medieval music characterized the weekends at one of the best-preserved moated castles in the Rhineland.

In 2025, the established format of the Autumn Festival continued: two consecutive weekends, each Saturday and Sunday, featuring a medieval market, an elaborate equestrian and fire show in the castle courtyard, and authentic camp life in the castle park. Burg Satzvey once again attracted several tens of thousands of visitors from the Rhineland, the Eifel, and the Ruhr area.
The established position of the Knights Festival at Burg Satzvey in the German medieval event market is reflected in the consistent quality of its programming, the professional show concepts, and the careful curation of the market — the castle is considered by medieval enthusiasts to be one of the best venues in Germany.
