In 2025, the Rites of Spring Fest took place for the first time at Kafe Kult Munich. What began as a semi-ironic reference to internet culture quickly established itself as a regular event for the DIY Screamo and Emo scene, laying the foundation for the 2026 edition.
The Rites of Spring Fest 2025 was the inaugural edition of the DIY festival at Kafe Kult Munich. Driven by the CoreChaos collective, the format has been dedicated to Screamo, Emo, and related styles from the outset.
What started as a semi-ironic reference to internet and meme culture quickly found its audience and developed into an established fixture on the DIY calendar. The values of accessibility, community, and FLINTA* visibility already shaped the first edition and were continued in 2026.
