Edition 2025 — Rissen Summer Festival
The Rissen Summer Festival 2025 took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, on Wedeler Landstraße. As usual, over 50 stalls from Rissen's association landscape, stage with school and association acts, flea market, catering from Rissen restaurateurs. Free admission. Organizer: Bürgerverein Rissen e.V.
The 2025 edition confirmed the established strength of the format. Despite changeable summer weather, the stalls attracted many district visitors. The stage alternated between a school choir, a children's band, a dance group, and guest musical performances.
In the Altona district, the Rissen Summer Festival is among the reliably organized district summer events. The Bürgerverein Rissen e.V. has made the festival possible through volunteer work for years; in the state of Hamburg, the format exemplifies engaged district cultural life in the western suburbs.
