Overview

In 2025, the "Glück auf" club once again invited guests to the traditional Ringreiter and Schützenfest on the festival grounds behind the former school in Lütjenholm. Around 20 ring riders and about 50 marksmen competed, followed by the festival ball with the proclamation of the king in the evening.

2025 Review

The 2025 edition once again confirmed that the Ringreiter and Schützenfest is one of Lütjenholm's most important village events. As since the club's founding in 1920, the day began with equestrian ring riding — riders from the community and neighbouring villages attempted to spear rings from the gallows at a gallop.

This was followed by the bird shooting with the air rifle, where the new shooting king was crowned after several rounds. The evening was dedicated to the festival ball with the proclamation of the king, dance music, and a communal dinner. In 2026, the tradition will continue on Saturday, May 2nd.
