Overview

In 2025, the Witzwort Riding Club of 1946 once again invited participants to the traditional Ringreiten on the village green. Riders from Witzwort and the surrounding Eiderstedt clubs competed in the adult and children's categories. The day culminated in the King's Ride in the afternoon and the festival ball at the Dörpshus in the evening, with the ceremonial handover of the king's title.

Ringreiten 2025

The 2025 edition of the Witzwort Ringreiten followed the established program of the club's history. Participating riders arrived at the festival meadow in the morning to compete in their respective classes. The competitions began at 10 AM and continued throughout the day, observed by an atmospheric audience of villagers, families, and guests from Eiderstedt.

Sporting and Social Highlight

The King's Ride in the afternoon marked the sporting climax: the day's best riders competed in an additional round for the royal title. In the evening, the Dörpshus hosted the award ceremony and festival ball — a convivial conclusion to the club's activities, highlighting the connection between equestrian sport and the village community.
