Until 2025, Rheinstetten held the classic Sunday shopping event — a format where shops opened their doors for a Sunday stroll and shopping. The StadtErlebnis 2026 replaces this format with a broader city festival featuring an experience mile through all three districts.

Before the StadtErlebnis

Until 2025, Rheinstetten hosted the traditional Sunday shopping event — a format tailored to the city's retail sector. Shops opened their doors, complemented by individual promotions on the shopping streets.

In the preparation phase of 2025, the City of Rheinstetten and the Business Association decided to fundamentally expand the format starting in 2026: into the StadtErlebnis with the participation of the Citizens' Association, an experience mile through all districts, and free public transport. The premiere was scheduled for April 19, 2026.
