Overview

In 2025, the Rheinsberg Christmas Market at Kirchplatz also opened its stalls. Mulled wine and punch, roasted almonds, baked apples, and the scent of the large Christmas tree shaped the atmosphere — framed by the town church St. Laurentius and within sight of Rheinsberg Castle.

The Rheinsberg Christmas Market 2025 took place as usual on the 2nd Advent weekend at Kirchplatz Rheinsberg and was organised by the town of Rheinsberg in cooperation with the working group "Cities with Historic Town Centres". The market attracted thousands of visitors from the Ruppiner Seenland, Berlin, and northern Brandenburg, confirming Rheinsberg's character as an atmospheric Advent location. Free admission; mulled wine, roasted almonds, smoked goods, honey, and arts and crafts at the stalls, plus stage programme and children's pony rides.
