Overview

The 22nd Reutlingen City Festival took place in June 2024 — the previous festival weekend of the biennial city event. As always, Reutlingen's city centre was transformed into a festival arena with multiple stages, Swabian and international cuisine, and a dense musical and cultural programme. The organizer, as in 2026, was StaRT GmbH, which has been professionally organizing the city festival for years. As the city festival is held biennially, there is no direct predecessor edition between 2024 and 2026 (instead of an edition in 2025).

22nd Edition 2024 — The Previous Edition

The Reutlingen City Festival is a biennial event — meaning it takes place every two years. The edition preceding 2026 took place in June 2024 as the 22nd edition. As usual, Reutlingen's city centre opened for two festival days, with multiple stages, culinary diversity, and a packed programme of clubs and caterers.

Thousands of festival-goers from Reutlingen and the surrounding region came to the pedestrian zone and market square to experience the mix of Jazz, Rock, Pop, Folk, and brass band music on the various stages. Swabian classics and international street food stalls provided culinary variety. The organizer remained StaRT GmbH, as always.
