Overview

The Rettigheimer Wein- und Kerwemarkt 2025 took place, as is traditional, on the fourth September weekend in the centre of the Mühlhausen district. Local clubs served Kraichgau wines, Swabian-Kraichgau cuisine, and sweet specialities. Kerwe tradition, a festival parade, and a craft market characterised the weekend — a classic autumn highlight in the Kraichgau wine region.

Rettigheimer Wein- und Kerwemarkt 2025

In September 2025, Rettigheim once again invited to the traditional Wine and Kerwemarkt — embedded in the Kraichgau autumn wine festival series, which alternates with Tairnbach and Mühlhausen to cover the weeks around the grape harvest. Local clubs — music club, sports clubs, fire brigade, church communities — ran their wine and food stalls in the village centre.

The Kerwe tradition with a festival service, parade, and a communal Sunday lunch combined the craft market and the wine festival into a typical South German autumn festival format. Free admission, visitors from Mühlhausen, the surrounding Kraichgau, the Heilbronn region, and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region — a successful edition of the charming village festival.
