Overview

The 19th Residenztage Bayreuth & Sanspareil took place in May 2025 — three days of concerts, guided tours, and family programs at the three central venues of the Bavarian Palace Department in the Margraviate of Bayreuth: the UNESCO World Heritage Margravial Opera House, the New Palace with its Court Garden, and the Sanspareil Rock Garden in Wonsees.

Residenztage 2025

The 19th edition of the Residenztage Bayreuth & Sanspareil continued its annual format in 2025. The Bavarian Palace Department invited visitors to three days of concerts, guided tours, theatre performances, dance, and hands-on programs at the three venues of the Margravial heritage.

At all three locations — the Margravial Opera House, the New Palace Bayreuth, and the Sanspareil Rock Garden with Zwernitz Castle — special openings, behind-the-scenes tours, and an extensive family program offered insights into the Wilhelminian world of the 18th century.
