The Reichswaldfest 2025 took place on July 12th and 13th on the Schmausenbuck clearing. The organizer was the BUND Naturschutz Bayern. The main themes were wildcats and beekeeping, along with tree climbing, geocaching treasure hunts, forest excursions on the Reichswald in climate change, and a diverse organic culinary offering.
On July 12th and 13th, 2025, the BUND Naturschutz transformed the Schmausenbuck clearing in the Reichswald into a family festival once again. The year's main themes were the wildcat with hands-on activities by BUNDjugend (1 PM – 7 PM) and beekeeping with honey from the Reichswald.
The program included tree climbing, geocaching GPS treasure hunts (2 PM and 5 PM), and forest excursions with the Nuremberg Forestry Office on topics such as 'How is the Reichswald managed?' and 'The Reichswald in climate change' (4 PM).
