Overview
In 2025, the Regensburger Maidult also traditionally took place for about two and a half weeks at Dultplatz by Protzenweiher. Two festival tents, Bierdorf, Steckerlfisch huts, amusement rides, and the historic market attracted visitors from all over Eastern Bavaria. The Maidult is one of Regensburg's most important folk festivals, alongside the Autumn Dult.
The Maidult 2025 in Regensburg continued the centuries-old tradition: opening in May with a parade and beer tapping, nearly three weeks of festival operations with two beer tents, Bierdorf, amusement rides, and market at Dultplatz by Protzenweiher.
As usual, the bridge days around Ascension Day and Pentecost were the busiest times, with packed beer tents, long queues at Steckerlfisch and Brathendl stalls, and lively activity at the market. Beer prices rose slightly compared to 2024 but remained below the level of major Bavarian folk festivals.
