The fifth edition of 'Regensburg Reads a Book' took place in Spring 2025, once again bringing together schools, associations, bookstores, and cultural institutions around a common literary work with readings, exhibitions, and discussion rounds.
In 2025, 'Regensburg Reads a Book' again dedicated several weeks to a central novel. As in previous years, numerous readings, staged performances, exhibitions, lectures, and discussion rounds accompanied the shared reading, making literature a city-wide topic of conversation. The initiative solidified its reputation as one of the city's most important literary events and paved the way for the expansion to the district of Kelheim in 2026.
