Overview

The 33rd edition of the Regensburg Marathon took place on May 17 and 18, 2025. On the flat city course through the UNESCO Old Town and across the Stone Bridge, over 4,000 participants competed in the five distances. As always, the DEZ mini-marathon on Saturday was the family event, while the Marathon, Three-Quarter Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, and Nordic Walking took place on Sunday. Start and finish: Infineon parking lot at Westbad.

Review of 2025

The 33rd edition of the Regensburg Marathon once again attracted over 4,000 runners to the cathedral city. The organizer was, as always, LLC Marathon Regensburg e.V., with organizational support from around 1,000 volunteers.

Schedule

Saturday, May 17, 2025: DEZ mini-marathon and Marathon Expo. Sunday, May 18, 2025: Main races. As usual, the Marathon, Three-Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon started together at 8:30 AM, the Quarter Marathon at 11:30 AM. The course followed the classic route: Westbad → Old Town → Stone Bridge → Danube riverbank → Schaeffler test track → back to Westbad.
