Review of 2025
The 33rd edition of the Regensburg Marathon once again attracted over 4,000 runners to the cathedral city. The organizer was, as always, LLC Marathon Regensburg e.V., with organizational support from around 1,000 volunteers.
Schedule
Saturday, May 17, 2025: DEZ mini-marathon and Marathon Expo. Sunday, May 18, 2025: Main races. As usual, the Marathon, Three-Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon started together at 8:30 AM, the Quarter Marathon at 11:30 AM. The course followed the classic route: Westbad → Old Town → Stone Bridge → Danube riverbank → Schaeffler test track → back to Westbad.

- Sun, May 18 — 8:30 AM Start Marathon/3⁄4-/Half Marathon, 11:30 AM Quarter Marathon, from 12:30 PM finishes
- Classic route through the UNESCO Old Town
