Edition 2025 — Finished
Edition 2025 — Reformation Day Eisleben
The 2025 Reformation Festival in Eisleben had a special occasion: the rededication of the restored organ in St. Andrew's Church. After a long restoration period, the instrument once again sounded in full splendor on this day – a moving moment for the congregation and the Luther Town.
The day's program followed the established structure: 10 a.m. festival service, noon lecture on the topic "Healthy Faith – 500 Years of Protestant Hymnals" at the Luther House, 2 p.m. a costumed themed tour (admission €8) through the Luther sites, and at 5 p.m. the grand Reformation concert featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann, and Josef Rheinberger. Soloists were Prof. Andreas Hartmann (violin), Wolfram Stephan (cello), and Thomas Ennenbach (organ), accompanied by the Central German Chamber Orchestra.
