Wine Festival in the North

The Reblaus Bad Rothenfelde is one of the few major wine festivals in southern Lower Saxony. It brings the wine culture of German growing regions to the spa gardens — a deliberate bridge between the North German brine spa town and German wine culture. The venue is the Konzertmuschel (concert shell) with the surrounding festival area in the Kurpark.

Three Days in Late July

The 2026 edition runs from Friday, July 24, to Sunday, July 26. Three days of high summer atmosphere with wine enjoyment, music, and conviviality. The date is classically set for the last weekend in July — nestled between midsummer and the transition into August.

Wines, Vintners, Tasting Booths

At the tasting booths, vintners from German growing regions present their wines: Riesling, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, as well as sparkling wine and Sekt. Tasting flights with several wines allow for comparative tasting. Wine advice is part of the exhibitors' service.

Culinary Delights and Live Music

Accompanying this are regional wine pairings: Flammkuchen (tarte flambée), cheese platters, savory pastries, hearty breads, cold roast pork. Live bands provide the evening atmosphere — from acoustic pop to Schlager and sophisticated jazz. The concert shell as a stage exudes a relaxed summer charm.
