Raisting 1250th Anniversary

The anniversary year for Raisting clearly falls in 2026 — 1250 years after the first documented mention in the year 776. Therefore, 2025 was used for the conceptual preparation of the festival year: program design, festival committee work, sponsor search, club coordination, and the establishment of a dedicated festival website (hut-raisting.de).

The municipality of Raisting and its clubs — from the volunteer fire department and the traditional costume association to the sports clubs — have jointly developed a program that reflects the identity of the town as a rural community with a modern earth station history. The central dates of June 12 and September 13, 2026, were set during this preparation phase.
