Overview

The 44th Rainer Stadtfest took place on July 12 and 13, 2025. After the starting shot by the marksmen's society at Schwabentor, Mayor Karl Rehm opened the festival with the traditional parade and beer tapping. The entire main street was the scene of a diverse program for young and old.

For the 44th edition, the festival mile stretched as usual through the entire main street of Rain. After the opening shot at Schwabentor, the traditional parade followed with the patron, guests of honor, city council, kindergartens, clubs, flag bearers, and brass bands.

Culinary offerings ranged from fried mushrooms, Rahmfleck, Schupfnudeln, and Currywurst to fried trout and ox on a spit. As every year, guests from the Hungarian partner town of Taksony participated with specialties, dance, and music.
