Overview

Already in 2025, Lusty Ice hosted the QWEER Spring FEST at the Kalle Halle in Neukölln. In a hybrid format of a queer market, food court, and stage program, Berlin-based LGBTQI+-owned brands were presented; drag performances and live acts were featured on stage. The donation-based admission concept and the winter garden atmosphere set the stage for the April 18th, 2026 edition.

In spring 2025, QWEER Spring FEST brought together queer Berlin brands, food stalls, and drag performances at the Kalle Halle in Neukölln. The Lusty Ice collective once again curated over 60 LGBTQI+-owned stalls, 18 international food stalls, and tattoo stations; drag shows and live acts alternated on stage in a multi-hour program.

The venue remained the winter garden of the Kalle Halle on Karl-Marx-Straße 101 — a weather-protected, flexible space that reliably hosts the event even in Berlin's April weather. With the 2025 edition, QWEER definitively established itself as a spring anchor in the city's queer festival calendar and laid the groundwork for the repeat event on April 18th, 2026.
