The Quickborn Summer Fairytale is a new format for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. In 2025, no comparable public viewing event of this kind took place on Rathausplatz — the town of Quickborn organized its regular summer events instead.
Match Langenhorn and the town of Quickborn used 2025 for the concept and security planning of the 2026 public viewing — accordingly, the sophisticated security concept was developed the previous year and announced in the Quickborn city magazine.
