Puppet Theatre Festival at FEZ-Berlin

The 2025 edition continued the stable weekend format. Over two days, the ensembles presented parallel programmes on several stages in the FEZ main building, with pieces for kindergarten children, primary school children, older children, and occasional industry professional evenings. Detailed lists of shows and artists are recorded in the FEZ programme archive but are not reproduced here in detail.

With its 29th edition, the festival prepared for its 30th-anniversary celebration in 2026. Over the years, the festival has evolved from its Berlin context into one of Germany's most important family puppet theatre festivals – not least due to its consistently international selection and its parallel stage structure, which exists in few other venues.
