Overview

The Puchheim City Festival 2024 took place from July 4 to 7, 2024 — a four-day event featuring club stalls, stage programs, and performances by Puchheim's school and youth groups. The city festival was held, as in previous years, in front of the PUC cultural center, organized by the City of Puchheim with the participation of the Haus der Begegnung and numerous Puchheim clubs.

The 2024 edition adhered to the concept of a citizen-driven city festival: club stalls, stages in front of the PUC, free contributions from Puchheim's civil society. The Puchheim Youth Orchestra also performed in 2024.

The concept has become established over the years: Puchheim, a classic Munich commuter town, uses the city festival as a deliberate occasion for the self-affirmation of the urban community — one day a year when school orchestras, sports clubs, and migrant associations perform together, instead of the daily routine of commuters. This focus makes the city festival an important identity-forming moment for the town.
