Overview

ProWein 2025 took place from March 16 to 18 at Messe Düsseldorf — featuring around 4,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries and approximately 40,000 trade visitors. Themed hubs ProSpirits, Champagne Lounge, and Organic World shaped the program. For the first time, ProWein City Vibes were systematically organized in Düsseldorf's city center — establishing the format of a city-wide experience extending beyond the trade fair.

ProWein 2025 — An Established Industry Fixture

ProWein 2025 in Düsseldorf reaffirmed its position as the world's leading trade fair for wine and spirits. Around 4,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries brought their wines, sparkling wines, and spirits to Düsseldorf. With nearly 40,000 trade visitors from the international wine and hospitality sector, the fair operated close to its traditional volume.

Highlights included the ProSpirits hub with ~500 spirit brands, the Champagne Lounge, the Organic World area for certified organic producers, and the ProWein Agora lecture format. Alongside the main trade fair, ProWein City Vibes were systematically organized for the first time: restaurants and bars in Düsseldorf's city center hosted tastings, winemaker dinners, and pop-up wine bars. This format extended ProWein by three additional days of city experiences.
