Overview

The 20th edition of the ProPotsdam Schlösserlauf in June 2025 marked the anniversary of the popular run tradition through Potsdam's UNESCO World Heritage Site. The half marathon and 10-km run, as every year, led through Sanssouci, past the Brandenburg Gate, and across the Havel crossings to Babelsberg Palace. Organizer: Stadtsportbund Potsdam e.V. / ProPotsdam GmbH.

The 2025 anniversary edition attracted around 5,000 runners from Brandenburg, Berlin, and all over Germany to Potsdam. Since 2004, the Schlösserlauf has been one of the most prominent half marathons in the state of Brandenburg—supported by the Stadtsportbund Potsdam and the municipal housing association ProPotsdam.

With its route through one of Germany's most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage ensembles, the run is not only a sporting highlight but also a tourist attraction in the event calendar of Brandenburg's state capital.
