Live at Lokpark: Dark-Wave legends from Hamburg on May 14th
Founded in Hamburg in 1989, Project Pitchfork has since become one of the most important and influential representatives of the German Dark Wave, Synth-Pop, and Electro-Industrial scene. With over twenty studio albums – including classics like "Eon:Eon", "Daimonion", and "Look Up, I'm Down There" – the band has shaped a sound that merges dark synthesizer lines, driving beats, and Peter Spilles' distinctive vocals into an unmistakable mix.
Lokpark Braunschweig is one of the most exciting venues in Northern Germany. The former locomotive repair workshop at Borsigstraße 2a has been carefully converted into a concert and event space, retaining its industrial charm. The high halls, the originally preserved building fabric, and the special acoustics create an ideal setting for concerts outside the major mainstream tours. The backdrop is practically tailor-made for a concert like Project Pitchfork's.
Anyone who has experienced Project Pitchfork live knows: the band has always focused on a sophisticated light show, dense staging, and a direct connection with the audience. For fans from Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and the North German Plain, the concert at Lokpark will be one of the significant Dark Music events of 2026. Expect songs from the band's entire repertoire, from early 1990s classics to current tracks.
Tickets are available through the usual advance ticket outlets. The Lokpark hall has a limited capacity, so early booking is recommended. As always at Project Pitchfork concerts, the audience will be a colorful mix of long-time fans and curious listeners, combining the unique Lokpark atmosphere with the intense sound of a cult band.
The 2026 concert brings one of the most important bands of the German Dark Music scene to Lokpark, which offers a unique setting with its industrial architecture.
