Pritzwalker Festtage — 770 Years of Pritzwalk

In 2025, the festival days served as a dress rehearsal for the 770th city anniversary in 2026. The city of Pritzwalk and the Alberti showman family, who have been operating the funfair on the market square for years, already coordinated their programs closely with the upcoming major anniversary year in mind.

The festival days are considered an important summer event in the Prignitz region — an occasion for people to meet again in this sparsely populated area. Residents, the mayor, and local associations have developed their own festival culture over the years, which will culminate in 2026.
