Overview
The Prignitz Animal Show 2025 took place as usual on the first weekend of July at the Blüthen riding grounds. Breeders from Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern presented their Holsteins and beef cattle to a large audience. A farmers' market, sheep shearing, and a family program rounded off the RBB animal show – a fixed date in the agricultural calendar of the Prignitz region.
2025 Animal Show — Review
In 2025, the Prignitz Animal Show once again proved its role as the most important showcase for cattle breeding in northern Brandenburg. The RBB presented classes for young cows, heifers, and bulls, with show participants traveling from across the entire association area. Accompanying the show, there was a farmers' market with regional direct marketers, a sheep shearing demonstration, and a program for families with a bouncy castle, riding lessons, and food options.
