Presseck Marksmen's Festival 2025 – Review
As every year at Pentecost, the Privileged Marksmen's Society of Presseck invited to the traditional Marksmen's and Citizens' Festival in the Frankenwald in 2025. Pentecost 2025 fell on June 8th and 9th; the festival weekend began on Whit Saturday, June 7th, with the collection of the reigning marksmen kings.
On Whit Sunday, the marksmen paraded through Presseck in their typical marksmen's attire. The highlight was again Whit Monday with the citizens' parade and the festive proclamation of the king, where the new majesties for the upcoming marksmen's period were announced. The typical Franconian festival atmosphere prevailed in the festival tent over all three days.
