In 2025, the Preetzer Frühjahrsmarkt once again attracted thousands of visitors to Cathrinplatz. Three days of funfair with classic rides, showman stalls, and food stands marked the start of spring in the Shoemaker Town.

The 2025 edition of the Preetzer Frühjahrsmarkt was traditionally held around Ascension Day. On the central Cathrinplatz, showmen set up rides, carousels, and food stalls, providing three days of funfair atmosphere in the town centre. The mix of Ferris wheel, dodgems, shooting galleries, and culinary offerings attracted families, young people, and seniors from Preetz, the Plön district, and the greater Kiel area alike. As in previous years, admission to the fair was free.
