Edition 2025 — Prangermarkt Schwarzach
The Prangermarkt Schwarzach 2025 took place on the Sunday after Corpus Christi on the historic market square. Numerous stalls offering leather goods, traditional costume, toys, spices, jewelry, and regional specialties provided a diverse range of products. Visitors from the Bavarian Forest, the Lower Bavarian Danube region, and the neighboring Upper Palatinate Forest used the market as a popular weekend excursion destination.
The 2025 edition continued the Lower Bavarian market tradition. The Prangermarkt remained true to its historic character: a Krammarkt in the classic sense, with artisanal and rural assortments and regional delicacies instead of interchangeable mass-produced goods.
The Schwarzach Tourist Information Office coordinated the market as every year in conjunction with the local Volksfest around Corpus Christi. Thus, the Corpus Christi week in Schwarzach offered a double program of market and festival culture.
