Overview

The 12th edition of POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair took place in September 2025, attracting over 30,000 visitors to Hangars 5 and 6 of Tempelhof Airport. International galleries showcased contemporary art across approximately 10,000 square meters, integrated into the Berlin Art Week with its city-wide audience of over 140,000 visitors in museums, galleries, and special exhibitions.

In 2025, POSITIONS once again confirmed its status as the central commercial format of the Berlin Art Week. The industrial architecture of the Tempelhof hangars proved to be the ideal space for large-format works and immersive installations. Special exhibitions, artist talks, award ceremonies, and the Berlin Art Week Collectors Dinner added further depth to the four-day event.

With over 30,000 individual visitors, the fair was once again among the most visited art fairs in Germany. The Berlin Art Week as a whole reached over 140,000 visitors city-wide – proof that Berlin is an undisputed art destination and collector's hub in mid-September.
