Overview
The Platzhirsch Festival 2025 continued the tradition of volunteer-run festival culture established in Duisburg since 2013. Two days of concerts, films, art, and literature at Dellplatz attracted thousands of visitors to Duisburg city centre — completely free of charge.
In 2025, Kultursprung e.V. once again proved the viability of the volunteer model. The 2026 edition runs from 18 to 19 September with a similarly multidisciplinary programme.
