Overview

The Plattlinger Volksfest 2025 took place as usual at the beginning of June at the Volksfestplatz Deggendorfer Straße. Five festival days with a grand opening parade, beer tapping by the mayor, a festival tent from a Lower Bavarian brewery, family day on Saturday, and senior afternoon on Thursday characterized the Lower Bavarian early summer Volksfest in the Deggendorf district.

In 2025, the Plattlinger Volksfest once again attracted thousands of visitors from Lower Bavaria, the Gäuboden region, and the western Bavarian Forest. The opening parade with the Plattling clubs combined tradition and community spirit. In the festival tent, dance bands and party bands played, and the rides offered a full range from the Ferris wheel to the swing boat.

The family afternoon on Saturday and the senior afternoon on Thursday offered reduced prices and are integral parts of the Volksfest, establishing the Plattlinger Volksfest as a cross-generational town festival. The festival tent was supplied by a regional Lower Bavarian brewery, and the festival kitchen served classic Volksfest specialties.
