The Plänterwald Kiezfest 2025 was part of the Berlin-wide Neighbourhood Week at the end of May. At the WALDI community centre in the Plänterwald district (Treptow-Köpenick borough), residents of all generations met for an afternoon of live music, hands-on activities for children, coffee, cake, and small snacks from the community centre.

The event is part of a European initiative that brings together over 30 countries at the end of May to celebrate neighbourhood. In Berlin, community centres, neighbourhood clubs, and neighbourhood houses fill a whole week with decentralised courtyard festivals, street parties, and get-together events. WALDI at Galileistraße 31 is one of the central meeting points in the Treptow-Köpenick district. Free admission, managed by VskA e. V.
