Piratenspektakel Eckernförde

The 2025 edition of the Piratenspektakel took place on the first weekend of August in Eckernförde. As in previous years, the festival began with the theatrical storming of the beach by a pirate band that jumped from the historic Hansekogge. For three days, the harbor along the promenade transformed into a pirate nest: amusement rides, stage program, pirate village for children with stick bread baking and competitions, walking acts, and shanty choirs characterized the scene. The event has been established as a non-profit event for years, with proceeds from food stands and special income going to social projects in the region and to support children with cancer.
