Review of the 2025 Pirate Spectacle
In 2025, the Pirate Spectacle once again followed its established successful format: three festival days on the Sandwall in Wyk auf Föhr with game stations, pirate tattoos, face painting, and the coveted pirate diploma. The second edition in Utersum in August rounded off the offering for the western half of the island.
Föhr Tourism once again delighted numerous island vacationers and day-trippers with children with the format — the combination of free admission, an accessible interactive concept, and the central location on the beach made the spectacle one of the well-attended summer events on the island.
