Overview

In 2025, Stadtmarketing Pinneberg once again invited visitors to the Christmas Village on Drosteiplatz: four weeks of Advent atmosphere with around 40 wooden huts, a craft workshop for children, a gnome hut, and a large St. Nicholas lantern procession on December 6th. The official opening took place on November 26th at 6 PM, led by Mayor Thomas Voerste and accompanied musically by the Lucky Birds.

The 2025 edition followed the established format: the market was open daily (Sun–Wed 12 PM–9 PM, Thu–Sat 12 PM–10 PM), with a craft workshop offering childcare, Santa Claus visiting on weekends, and stage concerts by bands like Lucky Birds and Van Steef on several evenings.

The Pinneberg Christmas Village is considered one of the most beautiful Advent events in the Hamburg region — its charm lies in the combination of the historic Drostei backdrop, manageable size, and social integration within the Stadtmarketing network.
