Overview
In 2025, the Ummanz Island Runners again held their traditional Pentecost hike across the island of Ummanz for Pentecost. Numerous hikers experienced the tranquil island west of Rügen in its spring light.
The 2025 Pentecost hike continued the tradition of the Ummanz Island Runners. Accompanied by the DRK Rügen-Stralsund, the guided hike led across the island of Ummanz, through meadows and along the Bodden waters.
As in previous years, the focus was on the communal nature experience. Participants experienced the small island west of Rügen in its spring tranquility – a fixed date in the hiking calendar of the Vorpommern-Rügen region.
