Edition 2025 — Pfingstjubel Garding
In 2025, the town of Garding again invited guests to the Stadtpark on Pentecost Sunday for the Pfingstjubel. Low German church service, flea market, live music, and suckling pig — the Eiderstedt tradition once again attracted visitors from Husum, St. Peter-Ording, and the entire peninsula.
The Pfingstjubel 2025 continued the annual Garding tradition. In the Stadtpark, residents and guests met for an open-air church service in Plattdeutsch, after which the flea market stalls and the stage opened. The suckling pig feast in the afternoon once again created a convivial atmosphere — a typical North German folk festival with religious roots.
