Overview

The 2025 Whitsun Festival at Eberswalde Zoo once again attracted numerous families from Eberswalde, the Barnim district, and northern Berlin to the animal park. Clown shows, commented feedings, and the interactive program ensured a lively Whitsun weekend.

As in previous years, Eberswalde Zoo opened its gates on the Whitsun weekend of 2025 for an expanded family program. Over two festival days, clown shows, interactive activities, and special commented animal feedings took place throughout the animal park located in the city forest.

Families took advantage of the long weekend for a relaxing excursion into the Barnim Nature Park. Eberswalde, the district town of Barnim, is reachable in under an hour by regional train from Berlin and offers additional excursion destinations around the zoo, such as the Familiengarten and the Forstbotanischer Garten.
