Overview

In 2025, Hoflößnitz once again opened its doors for a family festival on Pentecost. Free museum admission on Whit Sunday, free guided tours, puppet theatre, and concerts by the Lößnitzchor attracted families from Dresden and the Saxon Elbe region to Radebeul.

The Stiftung Hoflößnitz has been organizing the Pentecost festival for years in almost identical format. In 2025, the May weather, blooming vineyards, and the Lust- und Berghaus shaped the atmosphere — the combination of baroque setting and family program once again confirmed Hoflößnitz's reputation as one of the most beautiful event locations in the Saxon Elbe region.

The family festival is traditionally co-hosted by Mechthild Mansel with her painting workshops, as well as by Puppentheater ECKstein and the Lößnitzchor — a proven constellation that will continue in 2026.
