Overview

The 2nd edition of the Pfaffengrund District Festival took place in September 2025 at the Gesellschaftshaus in the Heidelberg district of Pfaffengrund. Three days of district festival with Pfaffengrund associations, live music, theater and dance performances, and a rich family program confirmed the young festival format as a growing tradition. The Heidelberg-Pfaffengrund District Association had founded the festival in 2022 and further developed it with each edition — Pfaffengrund now has its own annual identity festival, which was previously missing.

2025 — District Festival in Heidelberg-Pfaffengrund

The 2nd edition in 2025 continued the development from the first edition and solidified the format as a reliable September date in the Pfaffengrund calendar. Catering stalls from associations, stage program with live music and theater, play stations for children — the model worked a second time. The district association and the Pfaffengrund community showed that the need for their own district festival is real and the format has staying power. Thus, 2025 proved that the experiment started in 2022 is becoming a permanent Pfaffengrund tradition.
