Review — The First Penzlin Photography Biennale
With its premiere in 2024, Penzlin launched the Photography Biennale as a new cultural format. The photo competition focused on the Mecklenburg landscape and invited photographers of all experience levels to share their perspective on the region.
The submitted works were subsequently exhibited in Penzlin. The success of the first edition laid the foundation for the event, which is held every two years — the second biennale follows in 2026 under the theme »Odyssey in Mecklenburg«.
