The 31st Penzlin Castle Festival took place in August 2025 at the Old Castle. Three days of medieval spectacle with a knight's camp, show fights, and fire shows, along with a family programme, attracted thousands of visitors to the historic castle grounds of the Reuter town.

In August 2025, the Penzlin Castle Festival once again attracted thousands of visitors to the Old Castle. The knight's camp in front of the castle, the show fights, and the diverse programme offered three days of authentic medieval flair.

Knights, nobles, craftspeople, and jugglers animated the castle grounds, while evening fire shows illuminated the historic walls. Families enjoyed hands-on activities, historical carousels, and international cuisine. The great turnout once again confirmed the Castle Festival as one of the summer highlights in the Mecklenburg Lake District.
