Overview

The Passauer Maidult 2025 took place as usual in early May at Messepark Kohlbruck. Eleven days of folk festival with the large Dultstadl, traditional costume and marksmen's parade, Children's Day, festival evenings, and a grand firework display. One of the largest spring folk festivals in Eastern Bavaria.

Maidult 2025 in Passau

In 2025, the Passauer Maidult again ran for eleven days at Messepark Kohlbruck. The organizer, as every year, was the City of Passau. The program and format followed the established pattern with a ceremonial beer tapping for the opening, a traditional costume and marksmen's parade, a Children's and Family Day, several themed evenings in the Dultstadl (nearly 7,500 seats), and a grand firework display towards the end of the festival week.

Experience Maidult

Throughout the entire festival period, the amusement park with classic rides and new attractions was open; live music played daily in the Dultstadl. Admission to the festival grounds was free, as every year.
