The 29th edition of the Party.San Metal Open Air in August 2025 continued the festival's underground ethos: Death, Black, and Doom Metal from around the world characterized the two stages at the Obermehler-Schlotheim Airfield. Preparations for the 2026 anniversary edition were already publicly communicated in 2025 — with the Earlybird ticket contingent and initial band confirmations.
2025 Review
The season before the 30th anniversary solidified P.S. MOA's reputation as Germany's most uncompromising Extreme Metal gathering. Three days of camping, two stages, an internationally diverse band selection from Death to Black to Doom — and a crowd that has cherished the festival as a firm tradition since the late 1990s. By the end of the season, the team announced the anniversary motto 'Hell Is Here' and the first bands for 2026.
