Overview

The 10th edition of Parksommerträume celebrated its anniversary in July 2025: since 2015, the Altdöbern Heritage Association has transformed the castle park into a vibrant cultural stage once every summer. In 2025, the anniversary weekend attracted thousands of guests to the baroque park with music, guided tours, and Lusatian specialties.

In summer 2025, the Parksommerträume celebrated its 10th anniversary. The organizing trio of the heritage association, the Altdöbern municipality, and WIS GmbH offered a celebratory program in the castle park – with concerts on the castle meadow, guided walks through the landscape garden, and hands-on activities for children.

The positive reception in 2025 paved the way for multi-year funding from the Lusatia Cultural Plan. This now secures the series until at least 2028 – important continuity for the small Lower Lusatian community to continuously preserve its historical heritage.
