Overview
The Parkfest Hainichen 2025 once again combined the Volksfest (folk festival) and Schützenfest (marksmen's festival) in the Gellertstadt. For three days, the Stadtpark (city park) was filled with carousels, live music, and the traditions of the Privileged Marksmen's Guild Hainichen.
Tradition and Gathering
As every year, the marksmen's parade, the crowning of the king, and the bird shooting were at the center of the program. Live music on the main stage and carousels provided a folk festival atmosphere. The sports awards ceremony with a prominent guest from German sports was one of the fixed program points.
